(Note: There are hundreds more copies of shareware/trialware versions of OASIS that have been downloaded and possibly used, but the users are not listed here because their actual implementation of OASIS cannot be confirmed.)

About the OASIS clients list...

In examining the list, you will probably notice a pattern among the users that may be of interest. Almost all of the clients are small and medium-sized agencies. This may lead you to ask the question: "Why aren't large agencies using OASIS?"

The answer is that OASIS is an off-the-shelf product with screen forms and user interface pre-set to accommodate a broad range of general needs in collection system management. This tends to be a very satisfactory arrangement for medium and smaller sewer agencies, as well as institutional facilities such as industrial parks, airports, prisons, etc.

Large agencies often want custom programming, have specialized needs, etc. and also have computer budgets to match. There is nothing, however, in OASIS that inherently prevents it from being used by larger agencies including those with heavily networked PC's.
